Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean meets Hong Kong leaders

DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER TEO CHEE HEAN MEETS HONG KONG LEADERS
On an official visit to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean, who is also Minister in charge of the Civil Service, called on Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying yesterday (24 Apr 2013). During the visit, leaders from both sides reaffirmed the excellent bilateral ties and close cooperation in many areas. They also discussed issues of mutual interest, and expressed their commitment for officials on both sides to continue to visit and learn from each other. DPM Teo also conveyed Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s invitation to Mr Leung to visit Singapore.
While in Hong Kong, DPM Teo also met the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mrs Carrie Lam; Secretary for Civil Service, Mr Paul Tang; and Secretary for Development, Mr Paul Chan and visited the Singapore International School in Hong Kong.
Accompanying DPM Teo for the trip from 23 to 25 April are senior officials from the Public Service Division and the National Population and Talent Division.
